Localization of Web Portal

Project description and scope

One of the products I documented was internationalized. I was assigned to add a section to the administration guide explaining to system administrators how they could localize the web portal for a specific locale, and providing additional information about the I18N implementation.

Output types and deliverables

This project was delivered in PDF form only as part of a several-hundred page administration guide.

Tools used

I wrote this document using Framemaker 7.2 for the text and Photoshop Elements 2.0 for the images.

Skills showcased

This sample shows my ability to organize complex information using structured writing techniques. This functionality wasn't complete when I was writing the documentation, so the images are all mock-ups I created in Photoshop; they aren't actual screen shots of the application.
