Protection Against Cross-Site Scripting

Project description and scope

One of the products I documented was a web platform that included protection from cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. 

When the XSS security was added to the product, I added this section to the system administration guide describing both the need for XSS protection, and the procedures for customizing the application to protect against XSS-style attacks.

Output types and deliverables

This project was delivered in PDF form only as part of a several-hundred page administration guide.

Tools used

This project was completed using Framemaker 7.1 for the text and Photoshop Elements 2.0 for the images.

Skills showcased

This project shows my ability to research and understand a complex problem and write clear instructions with the solution.
