Implementation of MadCap Flare and Capture
MadCap Flare and Capture are part of an XML-based help authoring suite. When my employer was considering a help authoring tool, I recommended implementation of tools from the MadCap suite.
Using these tools, I have completed four different work projects for both online and print delivery. I have extensively used the single sourcing tools to ensure all my content uses a single source (when possible).
I created my own CSS style sheet for online and printed help from scratch. As I have learned Flare, I have become somewhat of a Flare expert, such that in 2007 I was invited to be a volunteer forum moderator on the MadCap user support forums, and a MadCap MVP.
Additionally I've blogged about MadCap products on my personal technical writing blog, giving ideas and suggestions for single sourcing content using Flare, and comparing Flare to other help authoring tools.
My mastery of Flare illustrates my ability to take a new product and quickly learn how to leverage its abilities to produce high quality output in a short time frame.
